Chapter Seven – The Garrison of Brill

It was time for The Watch to go into action, all be it not in a very grand manner. The Alliance had attacked and laid waste to every Horde city not more than a few days ago. Thrall and Vul’Jin were struck down in combat against the vast army that swept Orgrimmar. Silvermoon, Thunder Bluff and Undercity were also attacked, and Lorath felt that even though The Watch was still small they had to start somewhere.

Fortifying the small town of Brill situated just outside of Undercity would be an ideal training ground for future garrisons, and a time to inform the members exactly what Lorath’s task was. Lorath also wanted to ask Sabrina to become a Captain so she could spearhead assassination and recon missions for The Watch, since such things would be far easier for her to accomplish than Lorath himself.

Lorath paced around the town waiting patiently for the other Watchers to turn up, and they did one by one. First Sabrina, then Zecht, Faenia, Nianthil … And lastly Ferromort. As the Watchers assembled by the well just outside the Town Inn, Lorath requested silence and told the Watchers everything he knew about Saul, and the orders task, and their mission to find him. Lorath was worried that perhaps someone would desert as he had not told them the entire truth before signing up, fortunately he was wrong in fact a good number of the Watchers were very interested in the task.

Lorath used this opportunity to promote Sabrina to a Captain. She would take charge of some assassination tasks for wanted Heroes of The Alliance, she was more than happy to take the job and the other Watchers seemed to agree that she was fit for the task. The Watch also managed to recruit another member! An Orc Shaman by the name of Vrothdar appeared at the Garrison to enquire about membership and was enrolled into The Watch.

“It’s time to get to work Watchers!” Lorath exclaimed.

“Let’s split into two groups, patrol the town and make sure there are no Alliance roaming the hills report back in thirty minutes once you have completed your sweep!”

Lorath made a cocky smile, progress!
