Lok'tar Ogar!
The Orcs of the Red Blade invite you to participate in the Trials of Blood, once an ancient rite of the orc tribes to decide which could deem itself the fiercest of all tribes. The Trials of Blood will be held in the Ring of Trials in Nagrand, in one moon-cycle. This great arena was once the battle-stage of the most renowned and infamous warriors known on Draenor. Now history will repeat itself.
The three champions of each invited guild may participate in the Trials of Blood. These teams will battle eachother for the pride and glory, and a grand prize of one hundred gold pieces. Surely, you will defend your honour in the arena?
May steel clash and blood be spilled!-----------------
(Originally organised by Vaernas of Ashen Enclave, though I'm just sharing the message here)
Basically the Trials of Blood is another arena-style PvP event on invitational held in the Nagrand arena area. The guilds mentioned below were selected to join us in this event. It's a 3v3 knock-out arena event. The three best, the champions of each guild are expected to join and defend their guild's honour! If you weren't invited, I am sorry
But we try to keep it on a small/medium scale to preserve the quality of the event.
How you chose your three champions is up to you. I advise you to set up some kind of sub-tournament, however, to let faith decide which will be your gladiators.
Each team will be appointed a location around the arena to prepare for matches. The supporters of each team are asked to sit on the tribune high in the arena, when the matches start. For those without a flying mount: Fear not, we are supplied with warlocks, so you can be summoned up on the tribune, or to Nagrand for that matter.
Points of notice
Can/Can't
Can:
|Use consumables created by own spells. (Healthstone, Mana Emerald etc.)
|Buff teammembers.
|Use any kind of trinkets.
Can't:
|Leave the arena floor.
|Use engineering items, bandages, potions, and other trivial items which are not trinkets.
|Attack the audience.
|Attack the referee.
In case the fight is interrupted by outside players the fight will immediately be considered invalid and repeated. [disclaimer: taken from SGE. Hope they won't mind!]
------------------
Besides the main event there will be several contests in which may be participated. Including, but not limited by, a market, a beer-tag race, a bare-knuckle tournament, and a 'last man standing' tournament.
The guilds that are invited to this event are:
1. Orcs of the Red Blade
2. Ashen Enclave
3. Second Gurubashi Empire
4. Taur Nu Fuin
5. The Horde Watch
6. Assassins
7. Mistrunner Tribe
8. Sixty Thieves
The event will be held on the 30th of March, 20:00, a Sunday. I assumed this would be the best time to maximize attendance. Let's hope this will turn out to be a blast!
See you there!
